Kate Gutiérrez is a First Moon Circle Facilitator with a passion for holding online circles to ensure as many young people as possible have access to accurate and holistic information about puberty and the menstrual cycle. She believes it is of utmost importance that we celebrate menarche (first period), and that young people come to know what is normal and what is not regarding their menstrual cycle. Kate has lived with endometriosis most of her menstruating years and hopes to change the trajectory of this condition which often manifests in the teenage years. With a background in nutrition, high school teaching, and Chinese medicine, she has always been interested in our innate ability to heal ourselves. Currently, she supports women with endometriosis on their healing journey, diving deeply into the practices of cycle awareness and embodied movement.
