Kate Rose is a mother of two, ceremonialist, yoga teacher, menstrual educator and ceremonial space holder, working with young girls, mothers and women.
Kate currently facilitates a 13-moon Mothers Journeying Group, and offers First Moon Circles in Devon, UK
In her work with young people, Kate weaves holistic and comprehensive menstrual cycle education with Rite of Passage ceremony, to empower, educate and support the next generation.
Kate is passionate about honouring Menarche as a powerful Rite of Passage and her circles provide the knowledge and support that girls need to be positively guided and supported through their journey of Menarche. Kate’s work in the field of Menstruality addresses menstrual stigma and challenges the taboos, shifting the narrative around menstruation, from one of shame to celebration.
Kate is an advocate of cyclical living and Menstrual Cycle Awareness is one of her core spiritual practices. Kate studied yoga in the ashrams of India, and trained to teach at a traditional yoga school. She has worked with wisdom keepers from many traditions and indigenous communities – the Shipibo in the Amazon, the Q’eros in the Andes, and wise Elders of her native land.
Kate lives in an off-grid community with her husband, son and daughter. Kate loves to grow food and flowers with her children and resources herself with ceremony, ritual, and connection with wild land.
